Sage Machine utilizes American Made Haas CNC machining centers throughout our facility. By maintaining a cohesive manufacturing platform our staff of machinists are cross trained on all machines allowing us to be most efficient and responsive to the increasingly demanding supply chain requirements of todays businesses.
Our Vertical Milling centers are equipped with 4th axis rotary capabilities allowing us to utilize a variety of high volume fixturing methods to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.
Keeping with our commitment to continuous improvement, Sage has upgraded our turning centers to include live tooling for the fastest production of high volume machined parts. We routinely use our experience to develop creative solutions to exceed the traditional size constraints of our machines.
Sage Machine started in 2003 with a single Brown and Sharpe screw machine making small parts for the local gaming sheet metal industry. As word of our reputation for quality spread there was an increase in demand for parts leading to the addition of more screw machines. Additional demand spurred more growth and Sage added CNC capabilities to the existing cam driven machines.
Changes in domestic manufacturing practices prompted a focus shift from screw machine parts to CNC production. In order to consistently support our customers and proactively engage with changing demand Sage transitioned from the traditional manual machines to all CNC equipment and created the modern machine shop that we operate today.
